Consistently warm meals saved us. After a hike up the Gehrenberg tower, the good plain cuisine was the perfect end. "Schwabentraum" with Suser and then apple strudel. Perfect. Very attentive service with a second serving of dumpling and sauce

Nice inn Ok in taste, ok in price, But nothing more. Somehow it was missing for the 5 star, I know Gasthof quality a little different. But it fits all around.

Very nice inn! We had vegetarian and regional specialties and it was delicious. Even the side salad was delicious. With regional beers or spritzers, easy to recommend. Thank you for the hospitality

We are as vacationers on Lake Constance and have made a detour to Markdorf. We stopped here at lunchtime. The knuckle was unfortunately tough and the bread dumplings cold. Unfortunately, the potato pancakes weren't even made themselves. As people from the Rhineland, we are used to better quality. We didn't complain because we didn't want to spoil the holiday mood.

Food tastes like nothing !! Generally not to be recommended. The first time to eat back and not give a tip.

Was here for dinner with my wife and toddler. Tastes okay. The derogatory comments from the kitchen, which you can still hear in the beer garden, really bottom drawer. It is blasphemed about guests, especially tourists. Not at all! Dirty seat cushions. Siped tablecloths. Nobody is interested in the Coron editions either. Half the workforce without a mask. Only the waiter friendly and courteous. Never again!

Very unprofessional. Pork knuckle is different. The bread dumpling was overcooked and bland. Just a teaspoon of sauce, it doesn't matter, it was also without taste. The knuckle, on the other hand, was still bloody inside and could not be detached from the bone. The rind chewed like a rubber sole. Only the salad was okay. The waiter was very nice. I look forward to the mostly unqualified answer.

We were in the crown for dinner. Super friendly, almost familiar service. Food was great. Plentiful and cheap, as we Swabians love it. A must for lovers of Swabian cuisine! We would love to come back.

Culinary flight low. - Update on the owner's comment - The inclined reader can figure for himself how critical feedback is handled in this house by taking a closer look at the critical reviews. Understanding criticism as free advice could perhaps help the company further. But it stays where it is and gives the impression of being a tourist trap.

I was always happy with everything. Go for it yourself and just try it out. But for the "Schnösel" it is not thought. Those who complain, should ask yourself if they are not responsible for the tavern dying. Otherwise, there will be no good bourgeois food soon. To all of the Crown: Please keep it up!

Situated in a nice small plaza with a nice view, food is epic compared to what i ate around the area. In this area of Germany even the flies are polite.

We liked it very much. Were amazed at the bad reviews. The food was really good. My husband had the roulades and I had the Hungarian goulash. Was top.👍 The landlady and the waiter supi. The Hotel Krone is run by the innkeeper Döring very lovingly. The fine food is lovingly prepared with heart and soul! The staff is very well trained and the kitchen team works together hand in hand. Ms. Döring, looks after all the guests very well. The good soul Beate is reliable in preparing breakfast and in the kitchen. Sebastian a very obliging waiter. Always happy to come back. Has hot food throughout. Regrets the bad reviews because they are not true with what we experience in the fine eatery. Best greetings from Switzerland

Good and delicious food. Big plates are served :-) you nearly can't finish it. They serve very good local food. I would go there again.

Local restaurant in Markdorf. Great food (I highly recommend the hirsch goulash) and cosy atmosphere.
